Problem:

When attempting to open a PDF the browser becomes a blank sreen. At this point the browser hangs and the PDF does not open. This is due to the plug-in that is trying to open the PDF within the browser.

Solution:

1. Close all of your browsers
2. Open Adobe Reader
3. Go to the 'Edit' menu and select 'Preferences'
4. In the left column select 'Internet'
5. Uncheck 'Display PDF in browser'
6. Click OK and try again.
