We are pleased to inform you that Gamma-Dynacare is now able to offer the deamidated gliadin peptides (DGP), which have been shown to be highly diagnostic as a screening test for celiac disease.  The IgA DGP was found to have a sensitivity of 65% and the IgG DGP to have a sensitivity of 76-86%. The specificity of both assays was 97-99%. Gamma-Dynacare has made changes to the celiac testing panels in order to reflect the updated testing protocols.
